Maruti Suzuki has confirmed the inclusion of a panoramic sunroof in its upcoming premium MPV, the Invicto, through an official teaser released on social media platforms. The teaser reveals that the sunroof stretches from the roof to the second row of seats, indicating that the MPV will boast this feature.
Panoramic sunroofs have gained immense popularity and have become a significant factor in the purchasing decisions of premium vehicles. Currently, automakers such as Hyundai, Toyota, MG, Tata, and Mahindra offer panoramic sunroofs in their midsize SUVs. Even Maruti Suzuki offers a panoramic sunroof in the Grand Vitara midsize SUV. The all-new Invicto, positioned as the flagship vehicle, will be officially launched on July 5th, surpassing the Grand Vitara and XL6.
In addition to the panoramic sunroof, the new Maruti Suzuki Invicto will come equipped with various premium comfort, convenience, and safety features. These features will be shared with the Toyota Innova Hycross, as the Invicto is a badge-engineered version of the former with minor exterior tweaks.

Reports suggest that the new Invicto will be available in a single fully-loaded Alpha Plus variant, retaining the equipment list of the second-top Innova Hycross ZX variant. On the exterior, the Invicto will feature all-LED headlamps, tail lamps, and front fog lamps, as well as a chrome-garnished front grille and 18-inch machined alloy wheels.
The driver’s cockpit of the Invicto is expected to offer features such as a tilt and telescopic adjustable multi-functional steering wheel, paddle shifters, and a 7-inch full TFT screen in the instrument console. Alongside the panoramic sunroof, the cabin is likely to include dual-zone automatic climate control, quilted leather seats, a 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and a powered driver’s seat with memory function.
Invicto to be well-equipped
The new Maruti Suzuki Invicto will also be equipped with a rear sunshade, ventilated front seats, a wireless charger, a 9-speaker JBL audio system, powered second-row seats, and a powered tailgate. In terms of safety, the Invicto is expected to feature six airbags, ABS with EBD, front and rear parking sensors, a 360-degree parking camera, a tire pressure monitoring system, ESP, and a hill start assist. However, it may not include the ADAS suite of features found in the top-spec Innova Hycross ZX(O) variant to maintain cost-effectiveness.
The Maruti Suzuki Invicto is anticipated to be available only with the 2.0-liter strong-hybrid powertrain, rather than the 2.0-liter naturally-aspirated petrol engine found in the Innova Hycross. Bookings for the Invicto are already open at NEXA dealerships, with pricing set to be announced on July 5th.
