Maruti launches limited edition DZire Allure

The current generation Maruti Suzuki DZire will soon go out of the production to make way for the new all-new DZire. The new vehicle is scheduled to launch in next couple of months. To clear the current stock quickly, Maruti has introduced a limited edition of the DZire in the form of Swift DZire Allure. The limited edition model gets some exclusive exterior and interior changes to attract more buyers to the vehicle.

The limited edition DZire gets an extensive accessory kit, and it will be available with all the variants and colour options of the car. On the outside, the limited edition DZire gets side skirts, chrome bumper corner protectors, chrome detailing on the window line, body graphics and a sleek chrome strip on the lower part of the boot lid. Apart from these additions, everything else remains the same in the car.

On the inside, the DZire Allure gets some minor tweaks. The tweak includes dual-tone (beige and chocolate) seat covers and Allure branded pillows. The steering wheel also gets a dual tone cover. The centre console and the door pads get some fake wood insert while the car also gets door sill plates, floor mats and ambient lighting. Maruti is also offering Nertz branded music system exclusively to the Allure customers.

Mechanically, the car remains the same. The Swift DZire Allure is powered by the existing petrol and diesel engine options. The 1.3-litre DDiS diesel engine produces a maximum of 73 BHP and 190 Nm. The 1.2-litre K-Series VVt petrol delivers a maximum of 84.3 PS and 115 Nm of maximum torque. Both the engine options are available with 5-speed manual gearbox as standard while the diesel engine option is also available with 5-speed AMT option.
