Maruti Omni Does A Stoppie: Caught On Camera

India and the people living in it like to live their life on the edge of the swords. Every now and then, a video showing something unique gets shared on the internet. Most recently, a very daring video of a Maruti Suzuki Omni minivan doing a stoppie has been shared online. In this video, the Omni was seen performing this stunt right alongside a person who was riding a sportbike. The sync between these two vehicles has become viral on the internet.
This video of a Maruti Suzuki Omni performing a stoppie has come courtesy of Vandi Bhranthanmar from Instagram. It starts with a white-colored Maruti Omni and what appears to be a highly modified Yamaha R15 coming from the left side. Both of these vehicles were driving next to each other.
Soon after this, what happens is that both the bike rider and the Omni driver apply their brakes. What happens next is that both of these vehicles perform stoppies. Now, generally, we have seen bikes performing stoppies. However, this is the first time that we have a car like Omni doing this exact stunt.
The exact location where this video has been shot is unknown. However, from the clip, we can note that it was not done on a public road. Rather, it was performed on an empty space near railway tracks. Apart from these two vehicles, a few other bikes were also seen parked in the background, suggesting that it was a group of friends that did this stunt to make it viral online.
A few months ago, another video showing a unique scenario involving a Maruti Suzuki Omni was shared online. In this particular video, an old Maruti Suzuki Omni was seen giving competition to off-road SUVs like a Toyota Fortuner and a Tata Safari 4X4. Interestingly, a Tata Nano was also part of this unique squad.
What happens in this video is that there was a very steep hill. And the above-mentioned vehicles were made to climb this hill to show their off-road capabilities. First, a white Toyota Fortuner attempts this climb and succeeds. It then gets followed by a second-generation Tata Safari 4X4, which also manages to overcome this obstacle.
However, things then change when a Maruti Suzuki Omni comes into the foreground. The video then shows this particular minivan attempting the climb. Interestingly, the Omni, despite its odd box-like shape and no off-roading equipment, still managed to climb the extremely steep hill like it was nothing.
The video then shows that another unique vehicle managed to flawlessly perform on this obstacle. And this particular vehicle was a Tata Nano. This tiny hatchback, which like the Omni, is also a rear-wheel-drive vehicle, was able to climb the hill like it was nothing.
A lot of people became shocked after seeing these unique vehicles doing off-roading. The reason behind this is the unique capability of the Omni despite being powered by a tiny engine. The Omni came equipped with a 796cc 3-cylinder petrol engine that made a total of 34 bhp and 59 Nm of torque.
