Maruti S-Cross to Hyundai Grand i10: Cars with the BIGGEST discounts this month

The start of 2019 has been jam packed with new launches and facelift reveals. However, the year 2018 showed slower growth in the automotive industry of India and while the overall sales went up, the gain percentage was not very good. Because of this, manufacturers are trying to clear their inventories of older 2018 stock or other slow selling cars in their lineup. The discount schemes on offer this month have also been placed on the head of some pretty great sellers but most of the highest discounted cars are slow sellers. Let’s take a look at the vehicle that are running with the highest discounts this month.

Hyundai Grand i10

Max. Discount upto: Rs. 80,000

Starting the list is the Maruti Suzuki Swift rival from Hyundai, the Grand i10. The older 2018 model of the car are getting big discounts this month. The 2018 petrol variants get a direct cashback of Rs. 50,000 along with an exchange bonus of Rs. 20,000. Talking of the 2018 diesel variants, they get Rs. 60,000 off as cash discount along with another Rs. 20,000 off as exchange bonus, taking the total some to a huge Rs. 80,000 price mark.

Mahindra KUV100

Max. Discount upto: Rs. 73,000

The KUV100 is the most affordable car in the Mahindra group but carries the typical company DNA in its design language. The K6+ and K8 variants of the car are being offered with big discounts of upto Rs. 73,000 this month. The discount schemes include a cash discount of Rs. 40,000 along with an exchange offer worth Rs. 29,000 available on the car. Apart from all this, there is a corporate discount of Rs. 4000 available on all the variants of the car.

Mahindra TUV300+

Max. Discount upto: Rs. 70,000

Bigger brother to the TUV300, the TUV300+ is also being offered with a huge discount of Rs. 70,000. The Mahindra TUV300+ has seating capacity of 9 people, which makes it an attractive choice for people looking at high seating space. The discount offer on the vehicle includes a cash discount of Rs. 40,000 along with an exchange bonus of Rs. 25,000. Apart from these offers, there is also a corporate discount available on the car, valued at Rs. 5,000.

Hyundai Xcent

Max. Discount upto: Rs. 85,000

The Hyundai Xcent too is running big on discounts this February. However, the discounts listed here are applicable only on the older 2018 models of the car. The total discount on the Xcent this month is Rs. 85,000. This discount offer is given in the form of direct cashback of Rs. 40,000 along with an exchange bonus valued at Rs. 45,000. Volkswagen Ameo

Max. Discount upto: Rs. 65,000

The Volkswagen Ameo comes with one of the best and most powerful engine-gearbox combination in the segment but has not been a sales success. The compact sedan is being offered with discount offers upto Rs. 65,000 this February. The discount schemes include a direct cashback of Rs. 30,000 along with an exchange bonus of Rs. 20,000. Apart from these, there is an additional cashback of Rs. 15,000 being given away on the form of corporate discount.

Volkswagen Vento

Max. Discount upto: Rs. 1 lakh

The Volkswagen Vento was once a popular car in its segment and still can teach others a lesson or two in terms of build quality. Maruti Suzuki Ciaz

Max. Discount upto: Rs. 85,000

Maruti is offering the Ciaz with an overall discount of Rs 85,000. This discount is applicable only on the 2018 models and not on the latest 2019 variant. The discount offer includes a direct cash back of Rs. 60,000 along with an exchange bonus of Rs. 25,000. However, this discount is only applicable on the Manual transmission models and not on the automatic variants. Apart from this, there is also a corporate discount available at Nexa dealerships between the range of Rs. 5,000- Rs.10,000.

Maruti Suzuki S Cross

Max. Discount upto: Rs. 85,000

Another crossover on the list, the Maruti Suzuki S-Cross is a pretty versatile vehicle but could not gather much customers around it. To clear the inventories, Maruti is offering the S-Cross with discounts of up to Rs 85,000 this February. However, the discount is only applicable for the older 2018 stock and not on 2019 stock. The discount offer includes a direct Rs. 60,000 as cash discount and Rs. 25,000 as exchange bonus.

Renault Lodgy

Max. Discount upto: Rs. 1.55 lakhs

The big and spacious Renault Lodgy is quite a good car if you can ignore some of its niggles in favour of a supremely spacious vehicle. However, it could not stand the heat from rivals like the Maruti Suzuki Ertiga and the Mahindra Marazzo. Currently, the company is giving away the Lodgy with massive discounts worth Rs. 1.55 lakhs, applicable on the 2018 make models. The discount offer includes a direct Rs.1.50 lakh cash discount . An additional Rs. 5,000 is also being given away as corporate discount currently on the Lodgy.

Renault Captur

Max. Discount upto: Rs. 1.25 lakhs

The Renault Captur is a crossover styled vehicle from the company which failed to get the buyers attention. To attract more people towards the car and clear inventory, Renault is currently offering the Captur with discounts worth Rs. 1.25 lakhs this January. The discount offers include a direct cashback valued at Rs. 60,000 along with an exchange bonus of Rs. 60,000. A Rs. 5,000 worth of corporate bonus is also on offer. However, the discounts are applicable on the 2018 models only.
