After Maruti Suzuki introduced the black edition of the Nexa range of cars a few weeks ago, the brand has now introduced the black edition of its Arena range of models. While until the launch of the Grand Vitara, Maruti Suzuki did not offer a black colour on its vehicles for a long time, the growing popularity of the colour has got the brand back into the black colour segment.
Maruti Suzuki is currently celebrating four decades of operations in India. The black edition is a way to celebrate the four decades of the brand in India. All the Maruti Suzuki Arena cars except for the entry-level Alto 800, now get a black colour treatment. Customers can choose the black shade for cars like Alto K10, S-Presso and WagonR with the optional package called the Xtra Edition pack.

The Black Edition cars offer a slew of cosmetic updates. It includes a new spoiler, skid plates, different-looking moulding, steering cover, interior styling kit, mats, door visors, and various other additions. The accessories can be different based on the model you choose.
For the entry-level Alto K10, the Xtra Edition pack is priced at Rs 19,990 while for the WagonR, it is only Rs 3,000. For the S-Presso, the same package gets a price tag of Rs 14,990. Customers who choose to buy the Swift will have to pay Rs 24,990 as it also offers additional changes like a roof-mounted spoiler, different garnish, seat covers, side mouldings, door visors and more. The Dzire Xtra Edition costs Rs 23,990 and comes with all the accessories mentioned for the Swift and additional accessories including an interior styling kit and chrome garnishes.
The Celerio gets Active and Cool Packages. With the new packages, the Celerio gets a window frame kit, door visor, interior garnish, body cladding, front splitter, side skirt etc. The Ertiga gets the Indulge package priced at Rs 23,990. It gets side body moulding, door sill guards, quilted seat covers, 3D mats, an armrest bezel and more.
The Maruti Suzuki Brezza gets the most expensive kit for Rs 35,990. It comes with accessories like a trunk organiser, illuminated logo and sill guard, 3D mat, window frame kit all around and different moulding amongst others.
Maruti Suzuki recently unveiled the all-new Fronx and the Jimny in the Indian market. The new vehicles will soon be available in the showrooms. In fact, the brand has started accepting bookings for the all-new Jimny and the number of bookings has crossed a handsome 9,000 units until the last update that came in the last week.
