Refined and fuel-efficient engine
Last year, Maruti Suzuki launched the Vitara Brezza with a petrol engine that replaced the old 1.3-litre diesel engine. The diesel engine might be more frugal than the petrol engine but the new engine is a lot more refined and delivers decent fuel efficiency when compared to other petrol engines in the segment.

It produces 104 PS of max power and 138 Nm of peak torque. You can get it with a 5-speed manual gearbox or a 4-speed torque converter automatic gearbox. ARAI fuel efficiency of the manual gearbox is 17.03 kmpl whereas fuel efficiency of automatic gearbox is 18.76 kmpl.
