Maruti Suzuki Ertiga crossover and sporty concept!

Suzuki has showcased the Ertiga crossover concept at the Indonesia International Motor Show (IIMS) which is currently taking place in Jakarta. A body kit for this crossover may be offered in India!

The Ertiga crossover comes with a new honeycomb grille, a uniquely styled larger air dam, new front bumper with sporty side skirts and LED lamps! It also comes with other add ons like roof runners and a double tipped exhaust. Research Maruti Suzuki Ertiga!

The Maruti Suzuki Ertiga that is currently being sold in India is a 7-seater MPV which offers an attractive package for large families. The Ertiga is available in six variants, three diesels and thee petrols. The diesel Ertiga sports a 1.3 litre engine that makes 89 bhp of power and 200 Nm of torque while the petrol sports a new 1.4 litre K-Series engine. The Ertiga isn’t a very sporty looking vehicle and in its present form it appeals primarily to those looking for an affordable people mover. This new body kit could make the Ertiga more popular among buyers looking for an SUV like appearance from their vehicles.

The kit although not a major change, manages to give this 7-seater MPV a more aggressive and sporty stance. The Ertiga crossover looks much like the regular Ertiga with slight modifications but the Ertiga Sporty with its unique grille looks like a much more evolved design. Ertiga may get some competition soon with the Renault Lodgy MPV!
