Variants and Prices

Similar to the Swift and the Dzire, the Ertiga is offered in three petrol variants, LXI, VXI and ZXI and three diesel variants LDI, VDI and ZDI. The following are the prices of each variant.

The top-end Ertiga ZXi/ZDI comes with ABS, dual front airbags, power adjustable outside mirrors with turn indicators, integrated audio system features USB and Aux-in, and steering mounted audio controls and rear roof-mounted AC blower with independent controls for rear seat passengers.

The multi-information display shows outside temperature, range, average consumption and instant consumption, besides time and odometer/trip meter. However, even the top-end variant of Ertiga doesn’t come with automatic climate control, a feature now common in most of the premium hatchbacks.

The Ertiga looks more like a car than a conventional MPV. The front design looks like a mix of the new Swift and the Ritz but yet, the Ertiga has a distinct face. The rear is quite bland though the side swept tail lamp cluster gives it a fresh appeal. For more about the car read our Maruti Suzuki Ertiga road test.

The interiors of the Ertgia have Swift like dashboard and three rows of seats arranged in 2+3+2 pattern. With all rows used, the boot space is 135 litres, but by folding the third row, you can get about 480 litres. Even the middle row can be folded flat to obtain a cavernous boot space of 735 litres.

The Ertiga kick starts a new compact MPV segment and has no direct rivals. But to know how the Ertiga is priced against bigger MPVs such as the Innova and Xylo, we compare the prices of Ertiga diesel with them.
