Maruti Suzuki Ertiga Limited Edition MPV is BACK [Video]

Maruti has just reintroduced the limited edition variant of the Ertiga, in the Indian market. The automaker has put together three videos to promote the Ertiga Limited Edition with the ‘Togetherness is the new style’ tagline. The Limited Edition model of the current Ertiga comes at a time when the MPV will soon be replaced by an all-new, 2018 model. The new variant is likely to be a stock clearance move for the current model, in order to make way for the all-new model.

The Limited Edition Ertiga features new alloy wheels, a chrome bezel for the fog lamps, chrome side mouldings, a limited edition badge on the hatch lid and a roof spoiler. As for the interiors, there are faux wood inserts on the dashboard, door trims, plum colored art leather seats and a steering cover. The MPV will come in three colours – Silky Silver, Superior White and Exquisite Maroon. The limited edition is mechanically unchanged and continues to retain its 7-seat layout.

The MPV gets two engine options – a 1.4-litre K-Series petrol motor that generates 94 Bhp-130 Nm and a 1.3-litre Fiat Multijet turbocharged diesel engine with 89 Bhp-200 Nm outputs. 5-speed manual gearboxes are standard on both engines, while the petrol motor also gets a 4-speed, torque converter automatic option. Prices of the Limited Edition Ertiga are yet to be announced. However, we don’t expect them to be too different from the prices at which Maruti launched the Limited Edition Ertiga a year ago, ranging from Rs 7.85 lakhs to Rs. 8.1 lakhs.

The all-new Ertiga has already been revealed at the Indonesia International Motor Show, and will be launched in India by Diwali 2018. The new MPV looks much more classier than the outgoing model. It is larger, has new interiors and also gets many new features. It’s likely to be priced very competitively, too.
