This monsoon, it seems to be raining limited edition cars from Maruti Suzuki. After the Ritz Elate, Maruti Suzuki has lined up the Ertiga Limited Edition. With the Honda Mobilio MPV’s launch around the corner, the limited edition Ertiga seems right on time to keep buyers interested in Maruti Suzuki’s MPV offering.
The Ertiga currently leads the sales charts in the MPV segment and the limited edition version is aimed at keeping that lead intact. The Ertiga Limited Edition is available in petrol, diesel and CNG guises, and is based on the mid VXi/VDi variants. The feature additions to the Ertiga Limited Edition version are as follows:
- Hatchlid spoiler
- Revised spoke Alloy wheel
- Blue paint job
- Body decals
- Chrome front grille
- Chromed Door Handles
- Black and Beige dual tone interiors
- Wood trim for instrument panel and doors
- New floor mats
- Rear parking sensor with digital display
- Integrated audio
The ex-showroom Delhi prices of the Maruti Suzuki Ertiga Limited Edition are listed below:
- Ertiga Petrol VXi – 6.76 lakh rupees
- Ertiga CNG VXi – 7.34 lakh rupees
- Ertiga Diesel VDi – 8.05 lakh rupees
These prices represent an increase of Rs. 19,000 on the regular VXi, VXi CNG and VDi variants of the Ertiga. The Ertiga Petrol and CNG variants are powered by a 1.4 liter-4 cylinder K-Series petrol engine that outputs 94 Bhp-130 Nm and 80 Bhp-110 Nm respectively. The diesel powered Ertiga uses a Fiat sourced 1.3 liter Multijet turbo diesel engine that comes with a 90 Bhp-200 Nm output.
All variants of the Ertiga sold in India get a five speed manual gearbox driving the front wheels of the MPV, as standard fare. While top end variants of the Ertiga get twin airbags and ABS+EBD, Maruti Suzuki also offers the ABS option on the mid VXi variant of the MPV. The Ertiga is a 7 seat MPV whose latest competitor is the Honda Mobilio. Click here to read more about the Mobilio MPV, which will be launched on the 23rd of July.
