Maruti Suzuki did not have a car in the SUV segment except the Vitara Brezza, which was a major hit and still sells a lot. With the launch of Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara, All new Vitara Brezza and Fronx, Maruti Suzuki is trying to establish its dominance in the budget SUV segment.

Maruti Suzuki Fronx has outsold popular, well established players like Tata Nexon, Kia Sonet and Kia Seltos in a time span of less than 4 months and has become the 3rd most popular SUV in the Indian market.
