Maruti Suzuki Fronx with Vilox accessory pack: Walkaround video

Maruti Suzuki Fronx is one of the latest offerings from the Indian car manufacturer. We recently drove the car in Goa and posted a detailed first-drive review on our website and YouTube channel. Maruti Suzuki Fronx is being marketed as a crossover that will compete with cars like Nissan Magnite, Kia Sonet, and Hyundai Venue in the segment. Production of the Fronx has already started, and the car has started reaching dealerships too. The official launch of the Fronx is expected to happen in the coming weeks. Maruti Suzuki will be offering Fronx with official accessories, and the accessory pack is called Vilox. We have a walkaround video that shows what all is included in the Vilox accessory pack.

The video has been uploaded by Dino’s Vault on their YouTube channel, and in the video, the vlogger shows a fully accessorized version of Fronx on display. The Vilox accessory pack has several elements that give it a muscular look. Starting with the front, the front faux skid plate gets black and red accents. There is a chrome garnish below the tri-LED headlamp cluster, and the front grille remains the same. However, black and red accents have been added around it, and the chrome strip that divides the front grille also gets red accents for a sporty look.

Moving to the side profile, the wheel arch cladding gets a gloss black and red accent. The ORVM gets a carbon fibre finish with red accents, and there are door visors and a lower door beading that are part of the accessory pack. These help in achieving a rugged look for the car. At the rear, there are red accents on the integrated spoiler, and the faux skid plate also gets the carbon fibre and red accents.

As we move in, there are more accessories. There is a Nexa-branded sill plate on all four doors, and the fabric dual-tone seat covers have been replaced with Maruti genuine seat covers. They come with red piping and are similar to what we have seen on the Brezza before. Other accessories include floor mats, black finish on the steering wheel, and so on. Overall, the aim of the Vilox accessory pack is to enhance the rugged look of the Fronx. The price of the accessory pack is currently unknown, but the customer can choose it from the dealership when buying the car.

Coming to the Maruti Fronx, it is based on Baleno, which is a popular premium hatchback in the market. The car comes with modern features like a 9-inch touchscreen infotainment system, HUD, cruise control, Auto-dimming IRVM, and so on. The car is available with two petrol engine options. There is a 1.2-litre naturally aspirated dualjet petrol engine, which is the same engine that is offered with many other Maruti cars. It is available with a 5-speed manual and a 5-speed AMT gearbox. Maruti is also offering a turbocharged petrol engine. This is the same engine that was once offered with Baleno RS. The 1.0-litre Boosterjet petrol engine generates 100 PS and 147 Nm of peak torque. This engine option is available with a 5-speed manual and a 6-speed automatic transmission.
