Maruti Suzuki Invicto hybrid MPV: Official TVC released

Maruti Suzuki, India’s largest automaker by volume, recently launched its most expensive offering yet: the Invicto hybrid MPV, with a starting price of Rs 24.79. The company has positioned this MPV as its flagship model in the lineup, based on Toyota’s highly popular MPV, the Innova Hycross. The Invicto is the brand’s first vehicle to be exclusively offered with an automatic transmission. To announce the launch of the new MPV, the company recently released a brand-new TVC for the model.

The official TVC for Maruti Suzuki Invicto has been shared on YouTube and other social media channels by Nexa Experience. The new Invicto will be available for sale across the country through the brand’s premium dealership network, Nexa. The official TVC begins with a lady dressed in a red dress taking the back seat of the Maruti Suzuki Invicto. Once the lady is inside the MPV, the video showcases the intricate details of the car’s interior, including its perforated leather seats and a 9-inch touchscreen infotainment system.

Moving on, the TVC then showcases the exterior of the MPV from various angles. Subsequently, the lady and the car arrive at another destination where a man can be seen talking on the phone inside his office. The man then approaches the car and takes the seat next to the lady. The video also highlights the panoramic sunroof and ambient lighting of the car. After a few more glamour shots, the car is shown arriving at an opera house where the couple eventually enjoy the show.

As mentioned earlier, the company recently launched the Invicto in India. While the exterior design of the Maruti Suzuki Invicto draws inspiration from the Toyota Innova Hycross, it incorporates its own unique touches. For instance, the front grille features a revised design inspired by the Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara, with two chrome bars in the center and the iconic Suzuki emblem replacing the Toyota moniker. The front bumper has also been subtly tweaked to create a more distinctive appearance.

On the sides, the Invicto boasts eye-catching 17-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels reminiscent of those found on the Toyota Fortuner Legender. The rear of the MPV retains the overall design of the Innova Hycross, with the exception of the taillights, which now feature a darker tint and signature Nexa blocks. The dimensions of the Invicto are identical to the Innova Hycross, measuring 4,755mm in length, 1,850mm in width, and 1,795mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,850mm.

Step inside the Maruti Suzuki Invicto, and you’ll be greeted by a refined and feature-packed cabin. The dashboard layout is mostly similar to the outgoing Innova Hycross, ensuring familiarity and comfort. However, the Invicto offers several premium amenities to enhance the driving experience, including ventilated front seats, a wireless charger, a panoramic sunroof, a 9-inch touchscreen infotainment system, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto integration, and a full-TFT instrument console. The MPV also provides ample storage space, with a boot capacity of 239 liters that can be expanded up to 690 liters by folding down the third row.

Under the hood, the Maruti Suzuki Invicto houses a robust hybrid powertrain. It combines a 2.0-liter, four-cylinder engine with an electric motor, delivering a combined output of 184 horsepower. The Invicto is equipped with an e-CVT transmission and offers an electric-only mode, providing a seamless and efficient driving experience. It boasts a 0-100kph time of 9.5 seconds and a fuel economy of 23.24 kmpl.
