We all knew that the newest lifestyle off-roader from Maruti Suzuki will be going to be a hit in the Indian SUV market although nobody knew that it would become such a hit this quickly. Recently the company announced that the all-new Jimny five-door has crossed the 9,000 bookings milestone. Now the company has come forward and stated that Jimny has now also breached the 15,000 bookings milestone as well. With the 9,000 bookings news, the company also announced a week ago that it is raising the reservation price from 11,000 to Rs 25,000 to avoid getting non-serious bookings.

The Jimny five-door will be built at the company’s Gujarat manufacturing plant where the t hree-door Jimny is already produced at the facility for international markets.
