Maruti Suzuki launches Black Edition for Arena range: Alto, WagonR, Swift, Brezza and more

To commemorate its 40th anniversary in India, the country’s largest carmaker by volume Maruti Suzuki India Limited has announced the Black Editions for its entire lineup of vehicles sold through its Arena range of dealerships. The list of these vehicles includes the Alto K10, Celerio, WagonR, Swift, Dzire, Brezza, and Ertiga. All of these mentioned vehicles in some of their select variants will now be offered with the option of a Midnight Black paint shade on the outside.

As of yet, the company has not announced anything about which particular variants of each of these cars will be offered with the all-black paint scheme but it is believed the company will announce it soon. Along with the Black Edition, Maruti Suzuki has also announced new accessory packages for the entire Arena lineup of cars. Accessories like seat covers, cushions, mats, trim garnishes, chargers, and vacuum cleaners are included in these packages. These accessory sets have been priced between Rs 14,990 and Rs 35,990 depending upon the Arena model the customer may select.

The cost of the Xtra Edition package for the WagonR will be Rs 3,000 meanwhile it will be Rs 19,990 for the entry-level Alto K10. The same package is priced at Rs 14,990 for the S-Presso and for the Swift it will cost Rs 24,990. Upgrades included in this package will be a roof-mounted spoiler, distinctive garnish, seat covers, side mouldings, door visors, and more. All the Swift-specific equipment as well as extras like an interior design kit and chrome garnishes are included in the price of Rs 23,990 for the Dzire Xtra Edition.

As for the Celerio the company will be offering Active and Cool packages. These packages will be comprised of a window frame kit, door visor, interior garnish, body cladding, front splitter, side skirt, etc. Meanwhile the company will offer  Indulge package for the Ertiga costing Rs 23,990. It receives side body moulding, an armrest bezel, 3D mats, door sill protectors, quilted seat coverings, and more. And finally for  Rs 35,990, the Maruti Suzuki Brezza receives the most expensive kit. It includes extras like a trunk organizer, an illuminated logo and sill guard, a 3D mat, an all-around window frame kit, and various mouldings, among others.

In other Maruti Suzuki India news, prior to announcing the new Black Edition for Arena vehicles the company had also announced the Black Editions for all of the vehicles in its more premium Nexa range of dealerships across the country. Maruti Suzuki announced that it will be offering the Pearl Midnight Black colour option in all five offerings of Nexa, including Ignis, Baleno, Ciaz, XL6 and Grand Vitara.

Select variants of each of the five Maruti Suzuki Nexa vehicles will be offered in the Black Edition. The Black Edition will be offered in manual, automatic Zeta, and Alpha versions for the Ignis, Baleno, and Ciaz. The Black Edition is available in Alpha and Alpha+ versions for the XL6, while the Grand Vitara will have the same model in Zeta, Alpha, Zeta+, and Alpha+ versions.
