Suzuki Palette at Auto Expo 2012 – A Video Review

Maruti Suzuki unveiled Palette, a mini or even a micro mini van at the Auto Expo.

Palette is a Wagon R-sized car that packs in a lot of space and manages to look attractive despite its rather boxy design. It’s rather tall, even by tallboy design standards, creating an airy feel for its occupants. The large glass area will heat its insides during Indian summers which might rule out the excellent but small 660cc engine. It will be interesting to see how Maruti prices Palette—will it come in the Wagon R range or Ritz range. If launched, this will further crowd the already-crowded small car market—but its not clear what unique need it fulfills.
