Government is also working on expanding the CNG fuel pump network in India.

The 1.0 litre, three-cylinder, petrol engine generates 56.69 Ps and 82.1 Nm of peak torque in CNG mode. The same engine generates 65.26 Ps and 89 Nm of peak torque in petrol mode. The S-CNG version of Maruti S-Presso is available with a 5-speed manual gearbox only. The S-Presso S-CNG model has a certified fuel economy of 32.73 km/kg.
