Maruti Suzuki launched the all-new S-Presso last month in the Indian market. The new car targets the young buyers who aspire to own an SUV but currently have the budget of a small car. This is why Maruti Suzuki describes the S-Presso as a mini SUV. The connect with the young audience, who consume videos more than the written material, Maruti Suzuki has released a video brochure that explains all about the S-Presso quite well. Here is the new official video brochure of Maruti Suzuki S-Presso.
The video released by Maruti Suzuki for the S-Presso highlights all about the new car. It starts with the exterior design of the car, which is highly “SUV-inspired” and talks about everything from the dual-barrel headlamps to the shape of the tail lamps. The Maruti Suzuki S-Presso looks unique in the segment because of its design. The S-Presso gets squared wheel arches and upright A-pillars, which adds the muscular look to the hatchback.
On the inside, the video brochure highlights the features like the dynamic centre console, which is round in shape and has the instrument cluster integrated to it. Also, it shows the touchscreen infotainment system, Smart Studio system and the spacious cabin of the car. The S-Presso also offers AMT automatic transmission. It should be noted that automatic transmission is becoming popular in the Indian market in recent times.
The Maruti Suzuki S-Presso is sold through the manufacturer’s Arena retain chain outlet. The S-Presso is available only with a single engine option. It gets powered by a 1.0-litre, three-cylinder, naturally aspirated petrol engine that generates a maximum power of 67 Bhp and peak torque of 90 Nm. The engine gets a 5-speed manual transmission as standard and an AMT automatic transmission. This is the same engine that powers the likes of Maruti Suzuki Alto K10 in the Indian market but the S-Presso is the first car from the brand to get it in BS6 emission norms
The car comes with standard features like ABS with EBD, seatbelt reminder, rear parking sensors and speed alerts. Maruti Suzuki has priced the car at Rs 3.69 lakhs and there are six variants. The top-end version of the S-Presso costs Rs 4.91 lakhs. The S-Presso is based on the Maruti Suzuki Future-S concept, which was showcased at the 2018 Auto Expo in India. The SUV-inspired design of the car is likely to attract a lot of young buyers in the country. The S-Presso also provides a lot of space due to its tallboy design. Also, Maruti Suzuki provides a range of accessories for the S-Presso that can be installed by any authorised dealership of the brand.
