India’s largest car manufacturer Maruti Suzuki has revealed fresh discount schemes on its range of cars for the month of March. The company recently launched the all-new WagonR, Baleno facelift and the 2019 Ignis. In the coming months, Maruti will introduce its new 1.5-litre diesel motor on cars like the Ertiga and the Ciaz. Talking of discounts, the offers made available by the company apply both on the latest stock as well as on the older 2018 stock. Alto 800
Max. Discount up to: Rs. 73,000
The Maruti Suzuki Alto 800 is currently the most affordable car sold by the company here. In its segment, it rivals the likes of the Renault Kwid and the Datsun RediGo among others in the entry-level hatchback segment. Maruti is currently offering discounts of up to Rs. 73,000 on the car. The discount scheme includes a direct cashback of Rs. 30,000 on the fresh stock and Rs. 40,000 on the older 2018 stock. Then there is an additional bonus of Rs. 30,000 offered which gets down to Rs. 20,000 if the car being exchanged is older than 7 years. A corporate bonus of Rs. 3,000 is also up on offer.
Alto K10
Max. Discount up to: Rs. 60,000
Next in line is the more powerful version of the Alto, the Alto K10. The peppy little hatchback is being given away with discounts up to Rs. 60,000 the discount scheme on the car includes a direct cashback of Rs. 20,000 on the new 2019 stock while the older 2018 stock gets a cash discount of Rs. 27,000. This is then followed by an exchange bonus of Rs. 30,000 and an additional corporate discount of Rs. 3,000. Also, if the car being exchanged is older than 7 years, the exchange bonus goes down by Rs. 10,000
Omni
Max. Discount up to: Rs. 43,000
Among India’s most popular people mover, the Maruti Suzuki Van will soon be discontinued as it does not follow the upcoming BSVI and BNSVAP norms. It was one of the first vehicles to be launched in India by Maruti Suzuki. As for the discount schemes, the Omni gets a total discount of Rs. 43,000 this month. The discount scheme includes a direct cashback of Rs. 6,000 on the fresh stock and Rs. 20,000 on the older 2018 stock. This is followed by an exchange bonus valued at Rs. 20,000 which gets down by Rs. 10,000 if the car being exchanged is older than 7 years. An additional Rs. 3,000 are being given away as corporate discount.
Eeco
Max. Discount up to: Rs. 40,000
A step-up from the Omni, the Eeco offers more car-like dynamics while offering the same roominess and practicality. The Eeco is being offered with discounts of up to Rs. 43,000 this month. This includes a direct cashback of Rs. 6,000 on the fresh stock and Rs. 20,000 on the older 2018 stock. This is followed by an exchange bonus valued at Rs. 20,000 which gets down by Rs. 10,000 if the car being exchanged is older than 7 years. Further, an additional Rs. 3,000 are being given away as corporate discount.
Celerio
Max. Discount up to: Rs. 71,000
The Hyundai Santro and Tata Tiago challenger from Maruti is among the top 10 selling cars of India. It is being offered with discounts up to Rs. 71,000. The discount scheme includes direct cashback of Rs 25,000 for the petrol-powered variant and Rs. 30,000 for AMT/CNG variant. The older 2018 stock gets direct cashback of Rs 33,000 for the petrol-powered variant and Rs. 38,000 for AMT/CNG variant. Then there is an exchange bonus of Rs 30,000 on the cars under 7 years in age which dips to Rs. 20,000 is the car being exchange is older than 7 years. The offer is topped by Rs. 3,000 worth of corporate discount.
Ignis
Max. Discount up to: Rs. 68,000
Another tall boy hatchback by Maruti Suzuki after the WagonR, the Ignis is more of an SUV-hatch crossover design made in a way to appeal the youths. It is being offered with a discount of Rs. 68,000 this month. The discount scheme includes a direct cashback of Rs. 15,000 on the new 2019 stock. The older 2018 stock is available with a cashback of Rs. 45,000 for the manual transmission variant while the auto transmission variants get a cashback of Rs. 50,000. Then there is an additional Rs. 15,000 being offered as exchange bonus and a corporate bonus of Rs. 3,000.
Swift
Max. Discount up to: Rs. 68,000
Among the most popular hatchbacks of the country, the Maruti Suzuki Swift is running on discounts worth Rs. 68,000 this month. The petrol engine powered Swift variants get a cash discount Rs 25,000 while the older stock gets Rs. 36,000 as cashback. The petrol powered variant get an exchange bonus of Rs. 25,000. The diesel variants of Swift, on the other hand, get a cash discount of Rs 20,000 while the 2018 stock gets Rs. 35,000 as cashback. An exchange bonus of Rs. 30,000 is available on the diesel variants. The exchange bonus drops by Rs 10,000 on all variants if the car being exchanged is more than 7 years old year old. A further amount of Rs. 3,000 is available as corporate discount.
Baleno
Max. Discount up to: Rs. 33,000
The premium hatchback from the camp of Maruti Suzuki is again a best seller of its segment. The Baleno is running a discount of up to Rs. 33,000 this month. The discount scheme includes Rs. 15,000 worth of cash discount on the older 2018 stock along with an exchange bonus of Rs. 15,000 on the pre-facelifted model. An additional corporate discount of Rs. 3000 is also on offer. However, the latest facelift Baleno gets only Rs. 3,000 worth of corporate discount and no other offer.
Dzire
Max. Discount up to: Rs. 83,000
The Maruti Suzuki Dzire is the most popular compact sedan of India. It is currently running on discounts up to Rs. 83,000. The petrol powered variants of the Dzire get a cash discount of Rs 25,000 while the older 2018 stock gets a cashback of Rs. 30,000. An exchange bonus of Rs 30,000 is available on the petrol variants. The diesel engine variants of Dzire get Rs 20,000 cash discount while the older 2018 model gets Rs. 40,000 cashback. Then there is a Rs 40,000 exchange bonus on the car. The exchange bonus drop by Rs. 10,000 is the car being exchanged is over 7 years old. A further amount of Rs. 3,000 is available as corporate discount.
Vitara Brezza

Maruti’s answer to the likes of Ford Ecosport and the Tata Nexon, the Vitara Brezza is currently the best selling vehicle in the compact SUV segment. The car is being offered with a total discount of Rs. 70,000 this month. The discount scheme includes a direct cashback of Rs. 15,000 on the fresh stock while the older 2018 stock gets a cashback of Rs. 40,000. Then there is an exchange bonus worth Rs. 25,000 available on the car, which goes down to Rs. 15,000 if the car being exchanged is more than 7 years old. A further Rs. 5,000 is being given away in the form of corporate bonus.
Ciaz
Max. Discount upto: Rs. 95,000
The Maruti Suzuki Ciaz rivals the likes of Honda City and the Hyundai Verna in its segment. The car is currently getting a discount of Rs. 95,000, which is highest among all the Maruti cars. The discount scheme includes direct cashback of Rs. 60,000 along with an exchange bonus of Rs. 25,000 on the manual transmission equipped models for the older 2018 stock. The automatic models (2018 stock), on the other hand, are being offered with a cash discount of Rs 40,000 and an exchange bonus of Rs. 25,000.
The latest 2019 stock gets a direct cashback of Rs. 10,000 along with an exchange bonus of Rs. 25,000. A corporate bonus worth Rs. 10,000 is also available on the sedan currently.
S-Cross
Max. Discount upto: Rs. 95,000
The S-Cross is also being offered with discounts up to Rs. 95,000. The discount scheme includes a direct cashback of Rs. 15,000 on the new 2019 stock while the older 2018 variant gets a bigger Rs. 60,000 cash discount. An exchange bonus of Rs. 25,000 is also available on the car this month. The total offer is topped by a corporate discount of Rs. 10,000.
