Maruti Suzuki Swift variants and prices across five major Indian cities!

On August 17, Maruti Suzuki launched the all-new Swift in six variants with prices starting at Rs. 4.22 lakh. With a booking of 1, 08,000 cars to be cleared by Maruti Suzuki, Swift loyalties are ready to wait as long as ten months to drive home their new Swift. Such is the popularity and the cult-status which the Swift enjoys in the Indian premium hatchback segment.

The petrol Swifts are powered by a 1.2-litre K-Series petrol engine which has variable valve timing. The engine belts out 86 bhp of power and 114 Nm of torque. The diesel Swifts are powered by the same 1.3-litre Fiat-derived multi-jet diesel engine that makes 74 bhp of power and 190 Nm of torque.]

The new Swift is not just a face-lift but is actually; an all new car. The car is both longer and wider than the older Swift. The Swift sports new upswept headlamps, a re-designed bonnet, new bonnet, fresh new bumpers, a new grille up front and an all new tail lamp cluster. In all, there are three petrol (LXi, Vxi and ZXi) and three diesel variants (LDI, VDI, ZDI) of the new Swift. Swift LXi (Rs. 4.22 lakh) & Swift LDi (Rs. 5.17 lakh)

The base variant does not get tachometer, power windows, keyless entry and rear-seat head restraints.

Swift VXi (Rs. 4.75 lakh) & Swift VDi (Rs. 5.60 lakh)

The mid trim variants of the new Swift get all the features that the base models too and additional features such as ORVM mounted side indicators, rear fog lamp, full wheel caps, a day-night rear view mirror, inside chrome door handles, electrically adjustable side view mirrors and a tachometer.

Swift ZXi (Rs. 5.53 lakh) & Swift ZDi (Rs. 6.37 lakh)

The top-end variants of the new Swift get all the bells and whistles. The top trim variants also get 15 inch alloy wheels, electromagnetic back door opener, rear defogger, driver seat height adjust, seat belt height adjust and automatic climate control.
