Maruti Suzuki SX4 is a value for money sedan. The SX4 is available in both petrol and diesel engine options. It is a hassle free sedan fit for both city traffic and highway usage. The SX4 has muscular looks and high ground clearance to tackle the worst of Indian roads.
It sells in good numbers though it cannot match the finesse of its chief rival, the Honda City and the variants and features list offered by Hyundai on its Verna sedan. Let’s take a closer look at what SX4 has to offer to its buyers.
The SX4 is powered by 1.2-litre petrol motor that puts out 103 bhp of power and has ARAI-certified mileage of 15.5 kmpl. The petrol motor is mated to 5-speed manual and 4-speed automatic transmission depending on the variant. The diesel version is powered by 1.3-litre motor that puts out 89 bhp of power and has ARAI-certified mileage of 21.5 kmpl. The petrol motor is silent but not an outright performer while the diesel motor has adequate mid range pull for easy highway driving.
