Published by Car Sizzler, the brochure scans of the upcoming Vitara Brezza mention that the vehicle will boast a claimed fuel economy of 24.3 kmpl. In comparison, the Ford EcoSport has an ARAI-rated average consumption of 22.27 kmpl, while the TUV300 has a corresponding figure of 18.49 kmpl.
The sub-four-meter SUV will be introduced with a diesel engine (Fiat-sourced 1.3-liter unit that makes 89 hp and 200 Nm), but petrol variants and AMT are expected to be added at a later stage. There will be a total of three trim levels: LDi, VDi, and ZDi, and option packs — LDi(O), VDi(O), and the top-spec ZDi+.
Driver’s airbag will be standard on LDi and VDi while the option pack will introduce a passenger airbag and ABS/EBD. The ZXI+ will get dual-tone exterior styling (as showcased at the 2016 Auto Expo), Smartplay infotainment system, cruise control etc.
