Maruti Vitara Brezza unveiled

The Auto Expo is go, and India’s largest car maker Maruti Suzuki gets out of the gate first. The Vitara Brezza compact SUV has just been unveiled, and it’s Maruti’s first sub-4 meter SUV offering. The vehicle has been designed completely in India, and features a 1.3 liter turbo diesel engine with 89 Bhp-200 Nm. The vehicle features a ground clearance of 189 mm. Boot capacity is little, at 329 liters.

A 5 speed manual gearbox and a front wheel drive layout are standard. The Vitara Brezza is a diesel-only SUV available in no less than 6 variants – LDi, LDi (O), VDi, VDi (O), ZDi and ZDi (O). These variants have been imaginatively named Glamour, Urban and Sporty. Even the base variant of the compact SUV features a standard driver’s side airbag. ABS+EBD, and a passenger side airbag can be added is an option on the L and V trims.
