Indian car market slows down during the final months of the calendar year. This is the time when the manufacturers step in and offer discounts to make sure that the sales are steady. India’s largest car manufacturer, Maruti Suzuki is offering massive discounts on selected vehicles. Here are all the discounts offered by the brand.
The mid-size sedan from Maruti was recently shifted to the premium Nexa dealership network of the brand. The sedan is currently being offered with a discount of up to Rs. 1 lakh. The petrol variant gets Rs. 30,000 cash discount. The diesel variants get Rs. 40,000 discount.
There is an additional exchange bonus of Rs. 50,000 if you exchange your old car and loyalty bonus that takes the total discount to Rs. 1 lakh.
The seven-seater MUV is the best selling vehicle in the segment. The very practical Ertiga is currently available with a cash discount of up to Rs. 40,000 on the diesel model. The petrol model gets Rs. 30,000 cash discount and the CNG variant gets Rs. 15,000 discount. Maruti dealers are also offering an additional exchange bonus of Rs. 45,000 and loyalty bonus.
The Ignis was launched earlier this year. The Kei car design of the Ignis makes it very eye catchy on the road, The Ignis is is currently available at a discount of Rs.25,000 on both petrol and diesel variants. Maruti is also offering an exchange bonus of Rs. 20,000 on the vehicle.
Swift is one of the most popular vehicles in the segment and has been around for many years now. The mid-size hatchback is currently available with a cash discount of Rs. 30,000 on the Swift diesel and Rs. 20,000 discount on the petrol variants. The special edition DLX version of the Swift gets a discount of Rs. 10,000. Maruti is offering an exchange bonus of Rs. 20,000 on the model additional loyalty bonus on the vehicle.
The Celerio is only available with a petrol engine and is available at a discount of Rs. 15,000 and exchange bonus of Rs. 25,000. The AMT version of the model is available with a cash discount of Rs. 25,000 and exchange bonus of Rs. 30,000. The Celerio is also available with dual fuel CNG option. It gets a discount of Rs. 10,000 plus an exchange bonus of Rs. 20,000.
The entry-level Alto 800 from Maruti is available with a discount of Rs. 35,000. The more powerful K10 variant of the Alto is available with a discount of Rs. 25,000. Maruti is also offering additional exchange bonus of Rs. 25,000 across the Alto range.
The popular tall boy design of the WagonR makes it quite popular among the families. The WagonR is available with a discount of Rs. 35,000 across all the variants and gets an additional Rs. 30,000 exchange bonus.
Various dealerships may also offer additional discounts and free accessories on all the models. Models like Vitara Brezza, Dzire, Baleno, and S-Cross do not get any discounts due to their extremely high demand and popularity.
