Maruti’s offering big Diwali discounts on Ciaz, Ertiga, Swift, Alto, Celerio and WagonR

A lot of Indian car buyers go out shopping during the auspicious festive season. Manufacturers try to further push the sales by offering discounts and freebies. India’s largest carmaker, Maruti has lined-up a number of discounts and schemes for the festive season.

Maruti Ciaz

Maruti is offering huge discounts on its mid-size sedan. The Ciaz diesel hybrid gets a discount of up to Rs. 1 lakh. The diesel variant gets a cash discount of Rs. 40,000 and an exchange bonus of Rs. 50,000 if you exchange your old car. The petrol variant of the Ciaz gets similar Rs. 50,000 exchange bonus but there is no special discount on the vehicle.

Maruti Ertiga

Maruti Ertiga MPV gets various discounts on various models. The diesel Ertiga, which also gets the SHVS hybrid gets a maximum discount of Rs. 40,000 and exchange bonus of Rs. 45,000 if the car is less than seven years old. Older cars get Rs. 35,000 exchange bonus.

The Ertiga petrol gets Rs. 15,000 cash discount and Rs. 20,000 exchange bonus with up to 7 years old car. The older cars will get you Rs. 15,000 exchange bonus. The CNG Ertiga gets a cash discount of Rs. 5,000 and exchange bonus remains similar to the Ertiga petrol.

Maruti Alto

One of the best selling cars in the market, Alto gets Rs. 35,000 discount through Diwali offer. The more powerful K10 version of the car gets a maximum discount of Rs. 27,000. Exchange bonus of up to 7 years old car is Rs. 20,000 and older cars are set at Rs. 10,000.

Maruti WagonR

The Maruti WagonR gets a cash discount of Rs. 35,000. The car is also offered with AMT, and maximum cash discount for the variant is Rs. 40,000. The exchange bonus for the WagonR manual is Rs. 20,000 for up to 7-year-old vehicle and Rs. 10,000 for older vehicles. The automatic variant gets Rs. 29,000 exchange bonus of cars up to 7 years old and Rs. 19,000 for older vehicles.

Maruti Celerio

The Celerio hatchback gets a maximum discount of Rs. 29,000 and exchange bonus of Rs. 19,000 for up to 7-year-old vehicle and Rs. 9,000 for older vehicles. The automatic AMT version of the Celerio gets Rs. 34,000 discount and an exchange bonus of Rs. 24,000 for seven years or less old vehicle. There is 14,000 exchange bonus on vehicles older than seven years.

Maruti Swift

The Swift will be replaced with all-new Swift next year in India. Maruti is offering Rs. 20,000 discount of the Lxi variant and Rs. 15,000 discount on the Vxi and Zxi variants. The diesel models get Rs. 40,000 discount. There is also Rs. 15,500 exchange bonus on the Swift for cars up to 7-year-old and Rs. 5,500 on vehicles older than 7 years.
