Maserati, the Italian marque has had a tough run in the Indian market. While they have vehicles that are gorgeous to look at and sound fabulous, they have been priced on the higher side. Maserati Levante pricing revealed

While there has been no official launch yet, deliveries for the Levante started a while ago, with one going to Bengaluru and the other going to actor Arjun Kapoor.  According to a report by CNB, the vehicle has been priced at Rs 1.65 crore, ex-showroom.

The vehicle will at present be on offer with only one engine option, the 3.0 liter diesel unit which is on offer on the Ghibli and Quattroporte sedan. The engine produces 271 Bhp and 600 Nm. It has a 0-100 time of 6.9 seconds and a top speed of 230 kmph. The SUV comes with ‘Active sound’ exhaust, which changes the note of the exhaust and makes it more sporty depending on which mode the driver is driving in. This is an optional extra though. The engine sends power to all four wheels (Q4 all-wheel drive) via an 8 speed automatic gearbox.  The vehicle comes equipped with air suspension, whose ride height can be changed based on the driving mode selected (normal, auto (sport/manual) and an off-road mode).

Currently, there are only 3 dealers in the country, located in Bengaluru, Mumbai and Delhi. Bookings began for the vehicle quite some time ago and a few vehicles have already been booked, according to reports.

There is no clarity yet on the standard and optional equipment, but what we know is that the company will offer top notch quality when it comes to finish and the materials used in the cabin of the vehicle.
