These superbiker cops of India own Triumph Daytona, Kawasaki Z800

We have often come across reports and videos of cops stopping superbikes and taking action against such bikes for having loud exhausts or overspeeding. We also have a seen videos where cops actually stop such bikes to take a closer look and even pose for pictures. They even ask owners about the price and other details of the motorcycle simply because they like it. Most of the officers stopping such bikes because, they are very rare on our roads. Things are slowly changing and trend for performance bikes have caught up in India too. Here we have two cops from Kerala who own bikes like Triumph Daytona 675 and Kawasaki Z800.

copsrider and cjogrg have shared an image of them posing with their own Superbikes on Instagram. We have seen several images of passionate police officers posing for pictures with superbikes but in most of the cases, they don’t own these motorcycle. In this case however both these young officers from the Kerala Police force own not just one but multiple performance bikes. They have shared images of these motorcycles on their social media profiles. In this picture that has now gone viral on the internet has both the officers posing for pictures with two Triumph Daytona 675 motorcycle. The white coloured bike is Daytona 675 R and the black one is regular Daytona.

Both these motorcycle cost over Rs 10 lakh, ex-showroom and are extremely powerful. The real name of the officer who goes by the name Copsrider on Instagram is not known. He in his Instagram profile has mentioned that other than the Daytona 675, he owns a Honda CB 600RR, Yamaha R15 V3, Honda CBR 650F and a Honda CBR 150F. The other officer in the picture is Cijo George and he has a Kawasaki Z800 motorcycle. The Kawasaki Z800 motorcycle has been discontinued from Indian market and is not available anymore. The last recorded price of this motorcycle was Rs 7.68 lakh, ex-showroom.

Both the Instagram profile have several images and videos of their bikes on it but, only one picture where both the officers are posing with the motorcycle while wearing uniform. Kawasaki Z800 motorcycle is powered by a 806 cc, in-line four cylinder, engine that generates 111 Bhp and 83 Nm of peak torque. The motorcycle is paired with a 6-speed gearbox and comes with a sporty exhaust note. The pictures show that the Z800 gets an aftermarket exhaust from Akropovic.

Coming to the Triumph Daytona 675s, the Black Daytona is the regular model which was discontinued back in 2018. The motorcycle is powered by a 675cc, 3-cylinder, engine that generates 118 Ps and 70 Nm of peak torque. Last recorded price of this motorcycles was Rs 11.40 lakh, ex-showroom. The Daytona R is a newer model that replaced the original Daytona from the market.

It is powered by a 675cc, three-cylinder engine that generates 126 bhp and 74 Nm of peak torque. This motorcycle was sold at a price tag of Rs 12.39 lakh, ex-showroom. This motorcycle has also been discontinued from the market. It is actually good that young officers like them who have a passion for bikes are present in the force.
