With about 7,000 monthly sales, the Maruti Vitara Brezza is off to a great start in the sub-compact SUV segment. But while it does most things right, it clearly lacks the visual presence of proper SUVs. Fret not, as someone in Kerala seems to have given it the much needed rugged looks, and more individuality. Let’s have a look at what’s easily the first properly modified Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza.
Up front, the chrome-laden grille has made way for a simpler black unit, which with a visible mesh and piano black surrounds adds appeal and presence to the front end.
The ‘Vitara’ inscription might be a bit Range Rover-esque but is certainly not for everyone.
The plastic cladding on the wheel arches is now more pronounced. But it’s the wheels that command all your attention.
As if the current 215-section units on the ZDi+ weren’t borderline overkill, the Vossen wheels do all it takes to grab the attention.
The rear loses the Brezza’s chrome appliqué, and instead uses a piano black unit. The final images also show the removal of badges from the vehicle, hence adopting a cleaner look.
We think this is just one of the many modified Vitara Brezzas to come out from the land of modified cars. And like the Vitara Brezza itself, it’s a great start…
