Mercedes-AMG C43 Coupe launch date revealed

German Luxury car brand Mercedes-Benz will be launching facelift of coupe version C43 AMG sedan in India on 14th March 2019. The version coming to India will be the powerful AMG variant.

Nothing excites us more than an AMG tag on a Mercedes. That tag gives you the minimum guarantee that this car will be a pure joy to drive on both the road or a track. We usually talk about the exteriors first but as this is an AMG lets get to the heart of the beast first.

The AMG powered C-Class coupe will get a 3.0L twin turbo petrol engine with AMG speed shift, 9-speed automatic transmission. The C-Class AMG can do from 0-100 km/h in just 4.7 seconds, and the top speed is electronically limited to 250 km/h.

The V6 engine in the C-Class coupe will produce 390 PS of power and 520 Nm of peak torque. It is equipped with AMG Performance 4MATIC all-wheel drive system. It has suspension modes that can be adjusted. It has three set of characteristics to select from, namely Comfort, Sport and Sport+.

Just like other AMGs, it has different driving modes to choose from. The driver can choose from Comfort, Sport, Sport+ and newly added individual and slippery modes.

Talking of the exteriors, Mercedes AMG C43 4MATIC coupe sports Mercedes-Benz signature grille at the front with an AMG badge on it. From the side, this AMG justifies the coupe tag. It has that dropping coupe-like roof line towards the back which gives it a sporty look. It rests on 19-inch AMG multi-spoke alloy wheels.

At the rear, it has a muscular rear apron with a striking diffuser and round twin tailpipe trim elements. All this power and sportiness doesn’t mean that it misses on creature comforts. On the inside, C-Class coupe is also feature-loaded.

Some of the main features of the upcoming AMG C43 is the AMG performance seats, 12.3-inch fully digital instrument cluster, AMG performance steering wheel in Nappa leather with touch control buttons and heads up display.

Mercedes-Benz will launch the AMG C43 on 14th of this month and is likely to price it somewhere between Rs 75-80 lakh bracket. This will make AMG C43 the entry-level AMG offering from the brand.

Mercedes Benz offers the widest range of sportscars in India. Most of these sportscars are usable everyday, and this makes them practical buys. The C43 AMG coupe will be the latest among these cars.
