Mercedes Benz E-Class Edition E Launched

It might be Make in India everywhere, thanks to the current government’s push for the same, but it’s not like international brands have set up their plants/started production in India only recently. Take the Mercedes Benz E-Class, for example. To celebrate the completion of 20 years since the first E-Class was manufactured in India , the company has launched the Edition E.

Based on the current version of the E-Class, the E-Class Edition E will be available in three engine options (E 200 petrol, E 250 CDI diesel, and E350 CDI diesel). Prices start at Rs 48.60 lakh onwards, while additional features on the Edition E include a 14-speaker 610 W infotainment system, memory seats, electronic panoramic sunroof, Active Park Assist, new look taillamps, black hub caps, a rear-seat entertainment system etc.

The company also revealed that it has delivered more than 32,000 E-Classes till date, since the time the first manufactured in India W124 was introduced (in 1995).
