The German luxury car manufacturer, Mercedes-Benz has revealed that the company will launch and showcase a slew of new cars at the 2018 Auto Expo. Mercedes-Benz will launch the new Maybach S-Class, E-Class All Terrain and will also showcase the Concept EQ.

The Mercedes-Maybach S650 is the flagship sedan of the brand. The luxury saloon has a long wheelbase, handcrafted cabin and an array of other exclusive features. The car is powered by a handbuilt, 6-litre V12, bi-turbo engine that generates a maximum of 630 PS and peak torque of 1,000 Nm.

Mercedes-Benz will launch the new vehicle at the Auto Expo. The S-Class will also be available with the range-topping twin-turbo V8 engine and an AMG version. We may also see the Coupe and Convertible versions of the vehicle.  Mercedes-Benz India produces the S-Class at the Chakan plant in India, which is the only facility outside Europe to do so.

For the first time, Mercedes-Benz will bring in the all-terrain version of the E-Class. It will base based on the E-Class sedan but will be lifted for more ground clearance. It is a station wagon and also gets the 4MATIC all-wheel drive as standard. The design of the vehicle looks striking and will capture the imagination of many. The E-Class All Terrain also gets an air-suspension system that allows the driver to adjust the ride height during the rough terrains. The vehicle is expected to go on sale in the latter half of 2018.

Mercedes-Benz will also showcase the EQ electric SUV concept, a first production version of the electric model. The Mercedes-Benz describes the vehicle as an electro look. It will be powered by two electric motors. Finer details will be known at the event.

There will be Mercedes-AMG Petronas Formula 1 car as well as the AG GT R and the AMG GLC 43 Coupe for display at the event.
