Nick Jonas gifts Priyanka Chopra a Rs. 3 crore Mercedes-Maybach

The newly wedded Priyanka Chopra has received a luxurious Mercedes-Maybach S650 from her husband Nick Jonas. The gift came as a celebration for the success of the latest single by the Jonas Brothers that is now at the number one spot on the Billboard Hot 100. Priyanka Chopra received the gift in the USA, where she is spending her married life with Jonas.

Priyanka took the social media platform to announce her new gift. She has also mentioned that they have named the car “Extra Chopra Jonas’. The Mercedes-Maybach S650 is the top-of-the-line model from the luxury car manufacturer and sits just below the S650 Pullman, which is the extended version of the S650 sedan. The S650 is the long-wheelbase version of the Mercedes-Maybach S560 and is priced at Rs. 2.73, ex-showroom in India. In the USA, the model costs $199,990 which converts to around Rs 1.39 crores. It is the basic car price without any customisation or optional package. The high price in India is because of the high import taxes that are imposed on the Completely Built Units (CBU).

The S650 is mainly used by chauffeur-driven customers but it gets a juicy engine. The Mercedes-Maybach S650 gets powered by a massive 6.0-litre V12 engine that generates a maximum power of 630 Bhp at 5,000 rpm and a peak torque of 1,000 Nm between 2,300 and 4,200 rpm. There is a 7F-TRONIC Plus transmission that can pull the vehicle from 0-100 km/h in just 4.7 seconds. The top speed of the vehicle is electronically limited at 250 km/h for safety reasons.

The Mercedes-Maybach S650 is extremely luxurious and offers best-in-business features. It gets 19-inch alloy wheels, full-LED headlamps and taillamps and the legendary Maybach badge on the C-Pillar. On the inside, it gets a mini fridge, massaging seats, heated stone massage option, rear seat entertainment system, a chauffeur package that can provide extra space of 77cm in the rear seat by allowing co-driver seat to move up, multifunctional steering wheel, electric sunblinds, 64-colour ambient lighting, personal fragrance kit, 26-speaker set-up by Burmester, optional panoramic sunroof, wireless charger and much more.

The S650 also gets high-end automatic braking and collision avoidance system. There are also seatbelt airbags that save the occupants from any bruise due to excessive strain due when an accident happens. To give the maximum comfort to the passengers, it gets an air suspension system with the magic carpet ride. There are many more features including night vision camera, magic vision control that ensures that the driver gets the clear view of the road ahead even when the wiper is in use.
