MG Hector Gets 95,000 Rupee Price Cut: New Select Pro, Shine Pro Variants Launched
MG Motor India has introduced two new trims to the MG Hector line-up, the Shine Pro and Select Pro, replacing the Shine and Smart trims respectively. The starting price of the Hector has also been reduced by Rs 95,000, marking the second price cut in the last six months.
New Variants and Features:
• Shine Pro: Replaces the outgoing Shine trim, adding features like LED daytime running lamps, projector headlights, sequential turn indicators, fog lights, 17-inch alloy wheels, a 14-inch infotainment screen with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, a 7-inch digital instrument cluster, a sunroof, wireless phone charging, and cruise control. Prices start from Rs 16 lakh for the petrol variant and Rs 17.70 lakh for the diesel variant.
• Select Pro: Replaces the Smart trim, positioned above the Shine Pro. It adds features like 18-inch alloy wheels, a panoramic sunroof, LED reading lights, connected car features, and an 8-speaker sound system with subwoofer and amplifier. Prices start from Rs 17.30 lakh for the petrol variant and Rs 18.70 lakh for the diesel variant.

Additionally, a new entry-level Style trim has been introduced for the Hector Plus, exclusively available in diesel-manual. This brings down the starting price of the Hector Plus by a significant Rs 2.40 lakh.
