MG Hector SUV shows off its Audi-style turn indicators at night [Video]

MG Motors will soon launch the all-new Hector in the Indian market. The all-new SUV was officially unveiled by the manufacturer in the market recently and it gets a host of features and many of them are first-in-segment. The MG Hector has been spied undisguised on the roads numerous times. Here is one more video that shows what the segment-first LED dynamic turn indicators of the Hector look like at night.

The video posted by Rider 3003 on YouTube shows the MG Hector undisguised at night. The vehicle can be seen going through the roads in Gujarat. The helmet-mounted video of the MG Hector shows the vehicle from all around at night. The most interesting part seen in the video is the dynamic turn indicator, which is similar to the Audi cars. The rear tail lamp integrated indicator can be seen sweeping inside out. The video also shows the MG Hector’s front-end. From the front, the MG Hector looks imposing on the roads. It gets bright LED DRLs positioned on the flanks of the grille that give a unique identity of the SUV. On the bumper, LED projector headlamps are placed that are very bright and can be seen lighting up the road extremely well.

The MG Hector looks extremely good and has an imposing stance on the roads. By dimensions, it is the largest vehicle in the segment and is even bigger than the likes of Tata Harrier and Mahindra XUV500. The MG Hector also gets a long list of features. Some of the unique features of the car include an Artificial Intelligence-based 10.8-inch infotainment system. The vertically stacked infotainment system can be controlled via voice and it can control various features in the car including rolling up the windows, controlling the AC, controlling the sunroof and more such functions. The infotainment system is 5G ready and also gets an eSIM that keeps the vehicle connected to the Internet all the time. It allows the owner to monitor the car’s status including its live position, setup security geo-fencing, control the AC and other feature through a smartphone app and more. The MG Hector also gets features like a panoramic sunroof, cruise control, 6- airbags and more.

The all-new SUV from the brand will get both petrol and diesel engine options. It will become the first car in the segment to get the hybrid system too. The petrol variants of the MG Hector will get the 1.4-litre turbocharged engine that produces a maximum of 148 PS and peak torque of 250 Nm. The petrol engine will get an optional 48V hybrid system too. The customers can choose between a 6-speed manual transmission or a 7-speed Dual-Clutch automatic transmission with the petrol engine option. All the diesel variants of the Hector will be powered by a 2.0-litre Multijet engine from Fiat. It produces a maximum power of 170 PS and 350 Nm of peak torque. It gets only a 6-speed manual transmission as standard.
