MINI launches JCW Pro Edition in India

The British brand, MINI has launched the John Cooper Works (JCW) Pro Edition in India priced at Rs. 43.9 lakh, ex-showroom. The latest launch can be booked exclusively through Amazon India website. The JCW Pro Edition is a limited edition model that gets JCW tuning kit. The 3-door hatchback gets original JCW accessories that make the vehicle extremely sporty to look and drive.

Speaking about the new MINI JCW Pro Edition, BMW Group India President, Vikram Pawah said,

“The MINI JCW Pro Edition is inspired by the racing DNA of John Cooper Works that combines distinctive style with legendary driving dynamics and the classic MINI go-kart feeling. Available only on Amazon India, the limited MINI JCW Pro Edition with its irresistible character and high-performance capabilities, not only compliments the MINI 3-Door Cooper S but also balances the practicality of a car for everyday use.”

The JCW Pro Edition gets cosmetic enhancements designed by the John Cooper Works division. It boasts of a red roof and red ORVMs. The matte black body gets red pinstripes that differentiates it from the regular models.

The hatchback also comes with black finished bezels, JCW aerodynamic package and John Cooper Works emblem at the rear. There is also carbon fibre finished dual pipe exhaust and controllable exhaust valve systems. The limited edition model rides on 17-inch cosmos spoke alloy wheels with 205 profile tyres.

On the inside, the car gets Alcantara finished John Cooper Works seats with integrated headrests. The steering wheel is from JCW and gets a perforated leather wrap with contrasting red stitching. The JCW moniker can also be seen on the door sills, gear selector lever. The roof liner is anthracite finished and looks premium.

The JCW Pro Edition is powered by a 2.0-litre four-cylinder twin turbo petrol engine that generates 208 Bhp and 300 Nm. There is a 6-speed Steptronic transmission that can be controlled by the paddle shifters. The car can do 0-100 km/h in 6.5 seconds, which is 0.2 seconds faster than the regular version of the car.
