While the next generation Pajero Sport’s arrival hasn’t been announced yet, it appears that the company has updated the current version. And thankfully it’s not just the aesthetics that were in focus during the update.
The same 2.5-litre diesel engine powers the vehicle, and gearbox choices include both manual and automatic units. And while the latter was confined to 4×2 drivetrain, now you can choose either of the gearboxes in either of the drivetrain layouts (4×2 or 4×4). That obviously widens the appeal of the Pajero Sport.
But as it appears Mitsubishi has included these changes under a Limited Edition guise. There’s added chrome on the outside, ‘limited edition’ badging, nice-looking ‘Titanium Grey’ alloy wheels, and a couple of new colour choices.
Prices start at Rs 25.6 lakh, ex-showroom, New Delhi.
