This modified Ford EcoSport SUV looks absolutely fab [Video]

Ford EcoSport is one those vehicles which kickstarted the sub-4 meter compact SUV segment in India. It now competes with cars like Maruti Brezza, Hyundai Venue, Tata Nexon, Mahindra XUV300 and the upcoming Kia Sonet. It is actually a good car but feels a bit outdated in comparison to the competition. Many Ford EcoSport owners have even modified their cars and we have featured some of them in the past. Here we have one such video that shows an extremely modified EcoSport which looks great.

The video has been uploaded by Automobile Informant Vlogs on their youtube channel. The video shows all the modifications that are done to the car. The car seen in the video is a 2018 model facelifted Ford EcoSport and comes with a host of modifications. Starting with the front, it comes with a black masking on the hood and the parts of the headlamp and the headlights have been replaced with LED lights. The front grille on the EcoSport is an aftermarket illuminated unit which looks similar to the one in seen in Ford’s more expensive vehicles.

The Fog lamps get an LED strip that act as matrix styled turn indicators too. The lower part of the bumper gets an aftermarket kit installed which gives it a bit more SUVish look. Coming to the side profile, the car gets wide 16 inch alloy wheels that enhance the look of the car. The side glass, ORVMs and the roof along with the roof rails have been blacked out and there is Raptor sticker on the side of the car.

As of now there are no changes made to the engine of this car but, the owner mentions on video that he’ll be doing Stage 1 remap along with a twin exhaust system soon. He already has spent almost Rs 2- Rs 2.5 lakh on modification. The EcoSport is one of the best built cars in the compact SUV segment, and offers great driving pleasure. It’s offered with both petrol and turbo diesel engines presently. Soon, the EcoSport will get a class leading 1.2 liter turbo petrol engine that it’ll borrow from the Mahindra XUV300.
