Ford Endeavour was one of the popular full size SUVs on sale in India. Unfortunately earlier this year, Ford decided to pull the plug on India operations and exit the market. This means all the models that the manufacturer has been offering will also be discontinued. Ford Endeavour is a capable off-roader and it is suitable for modifications as well. There are several modification kits available in the market for Endeavour and we have seen many modified examples on our website as well. Here we have one such modified Ford Endeavour from Auto Harbour that looks butch.
The images of this neatly modified Ford Endeavour has been shared by the_modified_monsters on their Instagram page. The car gets several cosmetic and performance upgrades and we’ll be discussing all of that in this article. Starting with the exterior, the SUV gets a rugged look.

The Raptor body kit installed in the SUV is the reason behind this look. The stock grille on the Ford Endeavour has been replaced for a Raptor style grille with LED lights in it. The headlamps are now aftermarket units and a set of LED DRLs have also been installed below the headlamp. The original bumper of the Ford Endeavour has also been replaced for a Raptor style aftermarket unit with integrated projector fog lamps in it.
Before moving to the side profile, there is another change at the front of the SUV. The bonnet of this SUV gets a custom made scoop which completes the front look and gives it an aggressive or a rugged look. May be its due to its aggressive stance Auto Harbour has named this project Tusker. The SUV looks wider than regular Endeavour SUV and the reason for that is the wide body fenders installed on it. All the chrome on the SUV has been either blacked out or removed from the car.The other noticeable change on the SUV are the wheels. It now runs on 18 inch aftermarket wheels with chunky looking tyre wrapped around it. Moving to the rear, the chrome applique on the tail gate has been blacked out and the silver part on the bumper has also been blacked out. The car gets LED reflectors lamps as well.
Coming to the engine part, this is a pre-facelift 3.2 litre turbo diesel SUV that generated 197 bhp and 470 Nm of peak torque. The SUV now generates more power torque as it gets several performance upgrades. The SUV gets Stage 1+ Remap from Wolf Moto Performance, HKS Legmax catback exhaust system and BMC air intake filter. With all these modifications in place, Ford Endeavour now generates approximately 240 bhp and 550 Nm of peak torque.
Ford Endeavour is an SUV with lot of modification potential and Tusker is an example that proves the same. The current generation Ford Endeavour that we had in India was powered by a different engine. Both 3.2 and 2.2 litre engines were discontinued due to BS6 emission norms and Ford came with a 2.0 litre turbocharged diesel engine that came with a 10 speed automatic transmission.
