Indian SUV manufacturer Mahindra has a variety of products in their portfolio. One of the oldest model from Mahindra is Bolero. It is offered in various formats. For the commercial segment, Mahindra offers the pick-up version of Bolero. The dual cab version of the pickup is called Bolero camper and it is also offered with 4×4 system. There are several modification houses that concentrate off-road SUVs and here we have one such video. In this video, KAM Customs modifies a brand new Mahindra Bolero Camper 4×4 into a butch looking off-road truck.
The video has been uploaded by kamcustoms on their YouTube channel. Kam Customs focuses more of SUV customisation specially Mahindras. The video shows how the Mahindra Camper 4×4 looked when it had arrived at the workshop and what all modifications were done to it.

Starting with the front, the stock grille on the Mahindra Bolero Camper was replaced with a custom made unit which gave the car an aggressive look. The stock bumper on Bolero Camper was removed and replaced with metal off-road bumper from Prad 4×4. A set of auxiliary lamps and an electric winch has also been integrated in it. The turn indicators has integrated with the metal bumper. The car gets smoked headlamps and tail lamps. The stock white colour of the Pick-up has been changed to British racing green.
The paint job alone played a crucial role in elevating the overall looks of the Bolero Camper. Coming to the side profile, the pick-up gets 15 inch off-road wheels and 31 inch MT tyres. The fenders and the side step on this camper get Line-X coating for extra protection while off-roading. The side step in the Bolero camper is a custom made unit. The suspension setup on this Mahindra Bolero Camper has also been upgraded. It now comes with Arc shocks and leaf springs.
The luggage area at the rear also gets a Line-X coating in Yellow colour. This gives it a rugged look. There are roll bars installed in the pick-up from Prad 4×4. The spare wheel of this Bolero Camper is placed in the loading tub. The spare wheel is actually placed on a custom made metal mount. Just like the headlamps, the tail lamps on this Camper have also been smoked. The interiors of this Mahindra Bolero Camper 4×4 also sees some customisations.
Bolero Camper 4×4 is actually a fully utilitarian vehicle and it has no space comfort. The original seats in the Camper are designed accordingly. The truck gets a set of new seats from the driver and co-passenger. The seats are borrowed from a Mahindra XUV500 for more comfort. Air conditioning system has also been installed on this Mahindra Bolero Camper. Overall, the work done on this Camper looks good and the it looks off-road ready. The custom bumper and the new tyres definitely changed the stance of the pick-up and it looks like a proper 4×4 pick-up truck. In this pick-up is seen in some rough road section and was handling it pretty well.
