Mahindra Thar is currently one of the most popular 4×4 SUV in the market. The SUV got launched last year and quickly became popular among buyers for its looks and affordable pricing. The demand is so high that currently there is a waiting period of almost an year on a brand new Mahindra Thar. Many who have already bought the Thar have customised it and several videos of the same are available online as well. Here we have a Mahindra Thar soft top convertible which gets a peelable paint.
The video has been uploaded by Auto Marc on their YouTube channel. The thing that differentiates this Mahindra Thar from others that we have seen in the past is the paint job. This Mahindra Thar gets a Mohave Sand coloured peelable paint job and it is most probably the first Mahindra Thar in the country to get a paint job in this colour. This paint job is basically offered with Jeep SUV. Video does show the original colour of the Thar when it had arrived at the garage.

As the name suggests, this is a paint that can be peeled off from the car. It is simply sprayed on the car to form a new layer o f paint. n future, if the owner wishes to remove the paint, he or she can do it by peeling it off without damaging the original body colour of the car. It is like a wrap which many people normally do on cars.
Other modifications on this Mahindra Thar include an aftermarket grille, LED fog lamps and aftermarket Led headlamps with ring type dual function LED DRLS. The front bumper on this SUV has been completely blacked out to give the SUV a uniform look. Coming to the side profile, stock 18 inch alloy wheels in Thar have been replaced for gloss black aftermarket wheels and MT tyres. Brake calipers on this Mahindra Thar get a green shade. 4×4 and Mahindra Thar badges on the fenders have been blacked out.
At the rear, a spare wheel is mounted on the tailgate and it retains the stock tail lamps and bumper. Moving in, the car gets a customised interiors. To go well with the overall theme of the car, interiors have been completely blacked out. Overall, this modified Mahindra does look different from what we have seen so far and it is definitely a head turner.
Mahindra is offering several modern features with the all-new Thar. It comes with ABS, Vehicle Stability Control System, TPMS and many more features. Mahindra offers multi-function steering wheel, cruise control, touchscreen infotainment screen, roof mounted speakers, options to have hard top, soft top and soft top convertible version, front facing seats for rear passengers and so on.
Mahindra is offering Thar with both petrol and diesel engine options. The petrol version uses a 2.0 litre mStallion turbocharged engine. This engine generates 150 Bhp and 320 Nm of peak torque. The diesel version uses a 2.2 litre mHawk turbocharged engine that generates 130 Bhp and 320 Nm of torque. Both petrol and diesel are offered with manual and automatic transmission option.
