Modified Maruti Alto K10 with Lamborghini-style scissor doors is a head turner

Maruti launched the Alto hatchback in the market back in 2000 and in 2010, they introduced a sportier looking and peppier Alto K10 version in the market. It is a very common car on our roads. Maruti currently does not sell the K10 version of Alto in the market. Maruti Suzuki Alto K10 was a modification friendly hatchback because of its design. We have seen and featured several videos of modified Maruti Alto and Alto K10 hatchbacks on our website. Here we have a video where an Alto K10 has been modified extensively and it comes with Lamborghini like scissor doors.

The video has been uploaded by Born To Ride on their YouTube channel. In this video, vlogger talks about what all modifications have been made to the car. The vlogger starts by talking about the unique feature on the car – the scissor doors. The owner has installed Lmborghini like scissor door which give this Alto K10 a very unique look. Other than that, the whole car gets a cherry red coloured wrap on it. The wrap is also unique as it has a mirror like finish to it.

Coming to the front, the headlamps gets aftermarket dual purpose LED DRLs and projector type lights in it. The fog lamps have also been replaced for aftermarket units. An LED bar has also been installed right below the front grille which has been blacked out. As we come down, the owner has installed a splitter at the front.

Coming to the side profile, it gets a bumper lock (probably faux) and plastic claddings around the wheel arches. This gives it a wider look from the front. The steel rims have been replaced for aftermarket 15 inch alloy wheels with low profile tyres. A set of side skirt is also installed on the car. Lower part of the car gets a black masking which goes well with the otherwise Red car. As we move to the rear profile you notice the huge roof mounted spoiler and smoke tail lamps with aftermarket LED lights in it. The stock exhaust has been replaced with a full fledged HKS exhaust system.

The exhaust is quite loud and the same can be heard in the video as well. The owner of this Alto K10 does not say anything about the engine and it is safe to assume that no modifications have bee made to that department. Inside the car, the stock seats at the front have been removed and replaced with bucket seats from Sparco. The seats are wrapped in red upholstery to give it a sporty look. Even the dashboard gets a red paint job on some of the panels. It even gets an expensive music system installed in it.

In this video, the owner of this particular Alto K10 can be heard saying about the overall experience of driving this car. People turn around to have a look at the car once they hear the car because, the exhaust on this car is pretty loud. Modifying this Alto K10 was not cheap and the owner says that, he spent almost Rs 4 lakh on modifying this Alto K10.
