Maruti Suzuki recently launched the updated 2022 version of Ertiga MPV in the market. There are only minor cosmetic changes to the updated version when compared to the previous version. Ertiga is considered as a value for money product in the segment and it has been popular among buyers from both private and commercial segment. However it is not something that one would call a premium MPV. What most Ertiga owners are doing these days is customise the exterior and interior to give it a premium look. we have featured many such customised Ertiga on our website in the past. The video has been shared by VIG AUTO ACCESSORIES on their YouTube channel. In this video vlogger talks about all the customisation that are done to the humble MPV. Starting with the front, the front grille on this Ertiga has been replaced with a gloss black unit. It also comes with red inserts for a sporty look. The headlamps have been blacked out completely and the car now gets projector headlamps with crystal type aftermarket multi-coloured LED DRLs. The other noticeable change in the front is the front bumper. It gets an Indonesian body kit with Red and Black inserts.
Coming to the side profile, the stock steel rims have been replaced with 16 inch aftermarket alloy wheels. The car gets V-Line graphics installed on the lower portion of the doors. Side skirts that are part of the body kit are also installed here. The roof and the pillars on the car have been wrapped in black for added sportiness. All the windows and both windshields have been wrapped in high infra red heat rejection clear films. Moving to the rear, there is an aftermarket spoiler installed on the roof and the black panel from XL6 on the boot have also been installed. The Indonesian body kit can be seen on the rear bumper along with LED reflector lamps.
Moving in, the owner has opted for a Black and Red dual tone theme for the interiors. The door pads get leather wrapping with Red stitching on them. Plastic trims on dashboard and door get Red and Black dual tone shade. The fabric seat covers have been replaced with custom made seat covers. The roof liner on this Ertiga has been changed to black well. The steering wheel has also been wrapped in leather with gloss black inserts. There ambient lights inside the cabin. These lights can be controlled using a mobile application. There are 7D floor mats installed in the car as well. The other major feature in this Ertiga is the aftermarket touchscreen infotainment system. The system supports Apple CarPlay wireless. it also shows feed from the reverse parking camera.
The overall fit and finish of the work on this Ertiga looks good. It looks premium and sporty at the same time. Vlogger can be heard saying in the video that, this is probably the last video he is doing on a customised Ertiga as the next one would be on the Updated 2022 version. Maruti has only made cosmetic changes like a revised grille at the front. Other than that, the car gets updated engine, a new 6-speed automatic gearbox along with paddle shifters. Price for the 2022 Maruti Ertiga starts at Rs 8.35 lakh ex-showroom and goes up to Rs 12.79 lakh ex-showroom.
