Modified Maruti Suzuki Swift looks oh-so-sporty

Maruti Suzuki Swift is one of the most popular mid size hatchbacks in the Indian market. It has been around for over a decade and Maruti Suzuki constantly brought up updates and facelifts for this hatchback to retain buyers attention. It is one of the popular cars among modifying community and we have seen several examples of the same online as well. Many of them have been featured on our website as well. Here we have one such Maruti Suzuki Swift hatchback that has been modified both inside and outside and looks unique and sporty.

The video has been uploaded by uploaded by Modsters Automotive on their YouTube channel. This video shows all the modifications that make this hatchback different from the regular ones. The main attraction on this Maruti Swift is the Pearl Golden Yellow paint job. This is similar to what we have seen in the Swift RS that is sold internationally.

Other modifications on this Swift include a new front bumper. It is an aftermarket unit which reminds us of the Swift RS. There are no chrome bits anywhere to be seen on the front grille. The fog lamp garnish is finished in gloss black and a similar treatment is seen on the front grille as well. The fog lamps are LED and there are aftermarket LED DRLs placed right above it. The lower part of the bumper gets a lower lip which gives it an aggressive look.

Moving up, the headlamps remain the the same projector unit but, it now comes with body coloured eye lids. The other modification is the bonnet. The bonnet is an aftermarket unit with scoop in it. This unit is also finished in gloss black. Coming to the side profile, stock wheels have been replaced for 15 inch JDM style black alloy wheels from ADV1. The tyres have also been replaced for Yokohama units.

Other noticeable change here are the gloss black side skirts. Moving to the rear, this Swift gets a clear lens aftermarket Mini Cooper styled tail lamps and the rear bumper has also been modified. A large spoiler is also placed on the roof of this Swift to increase the overall, sporty character.

Moving inside, the interiors of this Swift has also received a complete makeover. Just like the exterior, interior also gets combination of black and yellow shades. The seats are different from stock and they now come with custom fit upholstery. The seat cover has black colour with yellow inserts at places. Similarly, the steering wheel is also wrapped in leather with yellow plastic insert on the lower part.

The cabin is mostly black with yellow inserts on the dashboard at places. The floor mats on this Suzuki Swift has also been custom made to match the theme of the interior. Ceramic coating has also been done to the car to protect the paint job and give it a long lasting gloss finish. Overall, the car looks sporty. We are not sure whether mechanically any modifications were done to this hatchback or not.
