Maruti Suzuki Swift has been a favourite hatchback among youngsters since beginning in India. The unique styling of Swift is what has attracted several young generation buyers. It is one of the best selling mid-size hatchbacks in the country and competes with cars like Hyundai Grand i10 and Ford Figo in the segment. It is popular for its mod-friendly design and we have seen several tastefully modified examples of Swift in the past. Here we have one such modified new generation Maruti Swift that looks beautiful.
The video has been uploaded by Automobile Informant Vlogs on their youtube channel. The video basically shows a beautifully modified Maruti Swift. The owner of this Maruti Swift has named this Swift as ‘Jellybean’. Vlogger starts with the front of the car. The Swift seen in the video is a VXI variant and does not get the projector type headlamps that higher trims get. The owner had replaced the stock halogen headlamps with LED units which was extremely bright.

The headlight unit also gets a white eye lid to give it an aggressive stance. The Moving down towards the grille, the Suzuki logo on the grille has been blacked out and that gives a uniform look to the front. As this is a VXI variant, it does not come with factory fitted fog lamps. The owner however has installed an aftermarket LED DRL which even acts as turn indicators. Another minor change at the front is a small black wrap that is there on the hood of the car.
Moving to the side profile, the main noticeable change here are the wide 15 inch alloy wheels and tyres. The wheels are so wide that it slightly pops out of the fender. The vlogger even shows the tyre reflector stickers which are custom made. The ORVMs are wrapped in gloss black material and apart from that no major changes are seen in the car.
The rear of the car also received multiple changes. Starting from the top, it gets a huge black wing spoiler and below that, there are LED pillar lights too. Just like the DRL at the front, these lights are cusotmised to act as turn indicators. Suzuki logo at the rear has also been blacked out and Swift badging has been removed too. There is a gloss black faux diffuser with fake exhaust tips too. Vlogger can be heard saying in the video that they are planning to modify the exhaust of this Swift and will be doing the same soon.
As of now, only the exterior of the car has been cosmetically modified. There are plans to revamp the interiors of the car as well. On the inside, it only gets ambient lighting and apart from that pretty much everything remains stock. No changes or modifications are made to the engine of this hatcback. Swift is BS6 avatar is available with a petrol engine only. The diesel version was discontinued as it was not compliant with our new emission norms. The petrol version of Swift is powered by a 1.2 litre naturally aspirated unit and is available with manual and AMT gearbox options.
