Land Rover India has launched the top-of-the-line Range Rover Autobiography. The premium SUV has been designed and engineered by the Bespoke Division of Special Vehicle Operations (SVO) of the manufacturer. The new flagship is priced at Rs. 2.8 crores (ex-showroom).
The new variant is known as the SVO Bespoke, but it is not based on the facelifted version of the Range Rover that was unveiled recently. It is based on the current model’s extended wheelbase variant. Land Rover will offer only five variants of the vehicle in the Indian market which will make it a rarity in the market.
The special edition Range Rover comes with similar engine options like the regular model. There is a 4.4-litre V8 diesel engine that produces 335 Bhp and a 5.0-litre supercharged engine that produces a maximum of 543 Bhp.
Rohit Suri, President & Managing Director, Jaguar Land Rover India Ltd (JLRIL), said:
“We are excited to introduce the Range Rover Autobiography by SVO Bespoke. The exquisite individualisation options give our discerning customers the opportunity to be a part of a unique automotive experience which gives them the chance to design the look and feel of their vehicle.”
On the outside, the car offers two unique paint options – Bespoke Gloss Black with Copper Flake and Bespoke Satin Petrol Blue. A choice is given to choose between 21 inch or 22-inch alloy wheels that give it a very intimidating stance. On the inside, the car gets a range of colours to choose from, Bespoke Kalahari Veneer for the centre console and Bespoke detailing and badging across the vehicle. There is also Rear Executive Seating with Cooler Box that makes the rear seats extremely desirable and one of the most comfortable places to be in the car.
The SVO Bespoke model can be booked at any of the 26 Jaguar-Land Rover dealerships in India. Customers can also reach the Bespoke commissioning facility near Coventry in Warwickshire, UK to book their vehicle and add their taste to it.
