The AMT version of the Alto K10 is powered by a 1.0-litre three-cylinder engine that produces a maximum power of 67 Bhp and peak torque of 90 Nm. It returns a maximum of 24.07 km/l as per ARAI certification. It is just ahead of the Renault Kwid AMT that returns a maximum of 24.04 km/l.

The petrol variant of the vehicle is powered by a 1.2-litre engine and churns out a maximum of 20.89 km/l.

The car is powered by mHawk100 twin-stage turbo diesel engine that generates a maximum power of 100 Bhp and peak torque of 240 Nm. It gets an optional 5-speed AMT. The TUV has a good power out and yet has a high fuel efficiency of 18.49 km/l.

Renault Duster: 19.72 km/l
