For those unaware, Kia EV6 is the flagship all-electric crossover offered by the renowned South Korean automaker, Kia, in the Indian market. Launched in 2022, it marks Kia’s entry into the electric vehicle segment in the country. The EV6 is powered by a single 77.4 kWh lithium-ion battery pack, providing an astonishing driving range of 708 km on the ARAI cycle. The battery pack supports ultra-fast charging, enabling an additional 100 km of range in just 4.5 minutes when using a 350 kW DC fast charger.
Kia offers the EV6 in two different variants, with prices starting from Rs 59.95 lakh. The base variant features a two-wheel-drive configuration with a front-mounted single motor, generating 229 bhp of maximum power and 350 Nm of maximum torque. For those seeking more performance, the premium all-wheel-drive version comes with two electric motors, one on each front and rear axle, providing a combined power and torque output of 325 bhp and 605 Nm, respectively. This enables the EV6 to accelerate from 0 to 100 kmph in just 3.5 seconds, making it an exhilarating electric crossover to drive.
