Mahendra Singh Dhoni is probably the only celebrity to love all kinds of motorcycles including the vintage ones, modern super bikes and even small capacity mass-segment two-wheelers. While Dhoni has an exotic garage of motorcycles, he was recently spotted on a TVS Apache RR310 in his home city – Ranchi, Jharkhand. The former cricketer was spotted on a TVS for the first time ever.

Dhoni takes the ride of the TVS Apache RR310 with an Tiivra helmet, which is produced in India. The TVS Apache RR310 was the first product to come out of the mutual work between BMW and TVS in India. The fully-faired bike has gathered a lot of attention in the country since its launch. It is a track-focussed motorcycle and the flagship product of TVS in India.
The bike is the first fully faired bike from the brand and is designed to look sharp and aggressive. The Apache RR310’s design is inspired by the shark, and it gets exceptionally sharp styling. The Apache RR310 is manufactured on the same production line as the BMW G310R and the BMW GS310.
The Apache RR310 is one of the quickest accelerating affordable motorcycles in the Indian market and is powered by the same 313cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine that is mounted as a reverse-inclined engine on the chassis. The set-up of the engine makes the bike unique and allows the swing arm to remain long while keeping the wheelbase short. The long swing arm helps when the bike is going on a straight line while the short wheelbase helps during quick maneuvers. The Apache RR310 gets a 6-speed transmission. It can do 0-100 km/h in just 7.17 seconds, which is quite quick.
From vintage to modern, Dhoni owns it all
Mahendra Singh Dhoni has a mega garage made out of glass that houses all his motorcycles. While the exact number of motorcycles stationed in his garage remains unknown, he reportedly owns more than 150 motorcycles including his collection of old bikes.
Hardik Pandya, who was in Ranchi recently to play a cricket game posted a picture with Dhoni on a BMW R71 complete with a sidecar. Dhoni also owns a few units of Yamaha RD350, which he claims to be his favourite bike. Other two-strokes in his garage includes the likes of Yamaha RX100, Suzuki Shogun, vintage motorcycles from Norton, Jawa and BSA, and many more.
Besides motorcycles from the previous era, Dhoni also owns a few modern motorcycles like Kawasaki Ninja H2, Kawasaki Ninja ZX-14R, Harley Davidson Fat Boy and the ultra-rare Confederate X132 Hellcat.
The former cricketer is often spotted on the roads while riding his motorcycle from a cricket practise session to home. He seldom uses four wheelers, especially when he is alone.
