Mukesh Ambani’s 3rd Rolls Royce Cullinan is India’s most EXPENSIVE car: Paint job alone costs 1 crore [Video]

Last year in June, Mukesh Ambani’s family took delivery of their third Rolls Royce Cullinan. This particular car is especially noteworthy because it boasts a customized number plate and the highest price tag due to its numerous customization options. A video has surfaced online where the new vehicle was seen accompanied by the usual entourage of Ambani security cars, including the Mercedes-AMG G-Wagen and MG Gloster. According to a report by PTI, it is said that the new Rolls Royce Cullinan was priced at Rs 13.14 crore.

While the base price of this luxury vehicle is Rs 6.8 crore, the cost can significantly increase with additional optional items and customization. Although the specific customizations selected by the Ambani family have not been disclosed, it is clear that the new Cullinan features a stunning Tuscan Sun color finish, making it quite noticeable. It has been reported that the paint job alone cost a little under Rs. 1 crore. Additionally, the car appears to have optional 21-inch wheels, the price of which is only available upon request and not publicly listed.

There are numerous customization options available for the Rolls Royce Cullinan, with hundreds of possibilities to choose from. It is unknown which specific customizations were selected by the Ambani family for their latest Rolls Royce. However, video footage from CS12 Vlogs showcases two of the three Rolls Royce Cullinans owned by the Ambani family in India.

Registration worth Rs 20 lakh

The new Rolls Royce Cullinan has been given the registration number “0001,” which is a highly sought-after VIP number. Typically, obtaining such a number would cost Rs 4 lakh. However, in this case, the RTO (Regional Transport Office) informed that the number was selected from a new series as all the numbers from the current series were already taken. This is why the RTO charged a staggering Rs 12 lakh for the registration number alone.

The RTO also noted that with written permission from the Transport Commissioner, a new series could be initiated without fully exhausting the previous series. However, the RTO charges three times the standard registration fee for this service. As per reports, an additional one-time tax of Rs 20 lakh was paid, and the registration is valid until January 2037. Furthermore, an additional Rs 40,000 was paid as the road safety tax.

Multiple Rolls Royce in Ambani garage

The Ambani family possesses one of the most extensive private collections of cars and SUVs in India, much like any billionaire’s garage. Among the numerous Rolls Royce models housed in the Ambani garage are the Rolls Royce Phantom Drophead Coupe, three Rolls Royce Cullinans, and a latest-generation Phantom Extended Wheelbase, which also costs around Rs 13 crore.

While media reports have suggested that the latest addition to the collection is for Mukesh Ambani himself, this cannot be accurate. He travels only in bulletproof cars for security reasons, and unless the Rolls Royce is bulletproof, it is unlikely that he will use it. It appears that the new car is an engagement gift to Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant. The car was registered in January last year.
