Narain has specified his car with a range of add-ons, which is likely to have pushed up the final, on-road price of the car to over Rs 3 crores. The 911 GT3 was first launched in India during September 2017, and Narain is one of the first high-profile buyers of this supercar.

The Porsche 911 GT3 supercar is capable of fearsome performance. It is powered by a a 4-litre six-cylinder boxer engine that has a turbocharger. Peak power is rated at 493 bhp while peak torque stands at 540 Nm. The two seat supercar is offered with two transmission options – a 7 speed twin clutch automatic and a 6 speed manual. The automatic variant takes just 3.4 seconds for the 0-100 kmph run, and has a top speed of 318 kmph. The manual is slightly slower to 100 Kph, taking 3.9 seconds, but has a slightly higher top-speed of 320 Kph.

The various customizations that Narain has on his Porsche 911 GT3 include a Guards Red colour paint job, leatherette interiors, Alcantara leather for the seats, the Clubsport package which adds bucket seats, and the Sports Chrono package that includes a stopwatch on the dashboard and a Porsche smartphone app.

By opting for the Porsche 911 GT3, Narain has shown that he’s still a race car driver at heart. There are many luxurious cars that he could have bought for the same money but none can offer the thrilling performance and driving pleasure than the 911 does. Great choice, we must say.
